Speaking about today’s shocking and deadly incident, Atlanta Police Department Interim Chief Darin Schierbaum, revealed that the shooting was likely a targeted attack.

“By the information that currently available to us now, we do not believe these were random acts of violence. We do believe the individuals were likely targeted who were harmed today.”

Chief Schierbaum also added that it didn’t take long for them to trace the Midtown Atlanta shooting to a single female suspect.

“The lookout for both of the shooters, we found out quickly was the same person, it was a female matching the same description that scene in this area,” he said.

Additionally, witnesses at the scene of the 1280 West Peachtree condos say that they heard three gunshots on the property that were coming from the building’s management office.

Footage of the woman was captured via surveillance cameras along the property.
