The rapper revealed that many trusted sources let him down when he “got educated” about his business, adding that “they mentally keep you faded from knowing.” So much so, that he recalled learning about the sales from his Drake-assisted single, “Going Bad,” and “losing all trust” for the streaming industry.

Meek shared that although the song brought in $24 million dollars in sales, he was left unclear on how much money he received from the total revenue. Meek also added that he asked Drake to hop on the song three days before his Championships album was released, thinking the rapper did the feature for free. However, he never inquired to learn more about “how much [he] made off a song that made that much” because he was given a plaque.
