Lil Durk Hit In The Face Due To An Explosion During His Lollapalooza Performance & Posts Update Saying He’s Taking A Break From The Stage

During his set at Lollapalooza Chicago, Lil Durk had a very scary moment on stage when he was hit in the face due to an explosive that went off while he was performing. At the time, it didn’t appear that Lil Durk suffered any visible injuries, but he provided an update with his eye bandaged and confirmed that he’s taking a break.

In a viral video of the shocking incident, Lil Durk can be seen walking across the Lollapalooza stage when he gets hit directly in the face by two large bursts of smoke. Following the explosion, Durk immediately halted his performance and attempted to wipe his face with the white T-shirt he was wearing.

As fans took to social media to collectively voice their concern, Lil Durk posted a photo and a message to Instagram regarding his condition. In addition to showing that his eye was heavily bandaged due to the explosion, he also gave an update about his plans for the stage.

“Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, I’ma take a break & focus on my health. I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate y’all,” Lil Durk wrote.

This is the second on stage incident at Lollapalooza within the last week, as last weekend at Lollapalooza Miami, Kid Cudi made headlines after he walked off stage after fans repeatedly threw things at him and booed him off stage.
